Family run for over ten years by Ken Varnes and his brother Larry. Local crews trained in-house to NWFA standards. Rated 5.0 on Google across 106 reviews.
Refinishing
Sand to bare wood, stain, finish. For floors that are worn through, gray, or scratched, or when you want a different color.
Deep Clean and Recoat
A deep clean and a fresh coat of finish, no sanding. For floors that are dull but still sealed. A day or two of work at a fraction of the cost.
Installation
Solid unfinished or prefinished hardwood, with moisture testing and subfloor prep before a single board goes down.
Our work is guaranteed. If something is our fault, we fix it, no questions. Full refinishes and site-finished installs done with WearMax Armor also carry our 10-year wear-through warranty on the finish. Here's exactly what's covered.
How this usually goes
1. You call or text Ken. He’ll ask about the rooms, how you use them, what’s bothering you about the floor, and what you’re picturing. Send photos if you have them. Most people know a lot more about what they want by the end of that call.
2. Color, if you’re refinishing. whether you send us inspiration photos, samples, or if you want to match an existing color onsite, we will help you narrow the choices down. When it comes time to sand your flooring we will show samples on your flooring in your homes lighting.
3. The visit and the quote. Once it makes sense, we come out, measure, gather details, and give you your written quote. Proposals, and invoicing are digital with online payment options available.
4. The work. Our crew arrives to your project between 8 and 9, each morning
5. After. For newly finished floors light foot traffic can resume after just 5 hours, furniture back after 24, rugs after 7 days.

Not sure what your floors need?
Call or text Ken at 717-320-6393. He'll ask about the rooms, how you use them, and what you're hoping for, and tell you honestly whether you need a refinish, a recoat, or nothing yet. Photos help. Nobody comes out until it makes sense to.
Prefer to write it down? Use the quote form and Ken will call you back.
